ADVENT GIVING 2021
THE ADVENT TREE
Help support Night Strike, a homeless outreach program under the Burnside Bridge. Socks are one of the most important needs for folks living on the streets. Place your gift of medium and large socks under the tree in the Old Chapel.
CHRISTMAS EVE OFFERING
The Outreach Committee has chosen the theme of Fins, Feathers and Fur as we offer our gifts of animals to improve the lives of folks around the world. We encourage you to make this a family gift project. A new fish pond in Cambodia is a $350.00 gift to enable a farmer to raise fish for market. Stocking the pond is a $20.00 investment. Broods of chicks are $10.00. a gift of a pig is $40.00, goats are $50.00 and a sheep is $100.00. Each of these gifts provide hope to folks who are living on the edge economically. These are the kind of gifts that can enable a family to pay for school for their children along with being able to pay for food and clothing.
