The Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice (IMIrJ) is a faith-based coalition that advocates for the rights of immigrants through direct accompaniment, policy advocacy, and community organizing. It mobilizes people of faith to support immigrants facing detention and deportation, provides direct aid like housing and accompaniment to appointments, and works to create a more just and inclusive society by challenging oppressive structures. The movement was founded in 2006 and aims to treat all immigrants with dignity and respect.
We're grateful to have had Keren Rodriguez from IMIrJ speak on immigrant justice for our Sunday School class on Oct. 12 this fall. Also: Thanks to PMC's Radical Hospitality Team for helping facilitate the Advent Giving Tree this year.

Our 2025 PMC Advent Giving Tree

Grab a tag (or two) from the Giving Tree in the old chapel and participate in building the Kingdom of God.
This year, our gifts will go toward the work of Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice (IMIrJ), an organization that works to accompany and equip communities and people of faith in Oregon to advance immigrant justice. We will be gathering items to fill the pantry that IMIrJ keeps with supplies for the immigrant families they work with. If you’re lucky, you might be able to take one of the special tags made by PMC’s Middle School Sunday School class. |
Items you will find on the Giving Tree:
