"slowly turning, ever turning"
Lent is a season for turning.
For turning from what is harmful, hurtful, meaningless, or cynical. A season for returning to the love of God that is woven into the fabric of creation. And for trusting, hoping that the world really is ‘about to turn.’
During the forty days of Lent we are challenged to be truthful about our lives and community and the world we all live in. And we are invited to get ourselves re-oriented, turned, more and more toward Jesus and his Way of love, mercy, equity, and peace.
We hope you will join us.

Ash Wednesday / March 2, 7:00 PM
At the beginning of Lent, we gather for a service of scriptures, prayer, confession, and ashes. For those unable to attend in-person, a short liturgy will be sent by email to be used at home or with a small group of friends.
Sunday Morning Worship
Each week we will sing our gratitude, confess our sins, hear the scriptures, and pray for grace and peace.
Spring Break Sunday / March 27 / 10:45 a.m. Willamette Park
On what we are calling ‘Spring Break Sunday,’ we will gather for a potluck brunch at Willamette Park followed by a shorter worship service.
Weekly Reflections on Turning
Each Monday, we will send out a short reflection on turning written by someone at PMC. Small groups are encouraged to use it as a conversation starter.
Small Group Reflection During Lent

7-8 p.m. Email David to get the ZOOM link.
Meet via Zoom on the 4 Sunday evenings before Easter to listen to the story of Jesus told in the Gospel of Mark. Each week, we would listen to a few chapters, consider "wondering" questions about what we have heard, and respond to all of this in prayer.
