Hymn SingingLEADERS: Crystal Miller & Gerry Leatherman
Crystal and I will be leading a hymn singing short term interest group. We have dates set - March 11, April 15, and May 6. All Saturday evenings, and we will gather at 7pm at the Leatherman residence for the first session and at the Miller residence for the second one. We'll decide about the location for the third session later. People who are interested in coming should let me or Crystal know so that we can have an idea of how many there will be, in case the group gets to big and we have to find a different location. Folks should bring hymn suggestions. We can sing out of the new or old hymnals. We'll have a supply of the old blue hymnals on hand, and folks should bring their own copies of Voices Together. ~ Gerry |

Knitting / Handwork groupLinda Smith and Vivian Headings offer to convene a knitting and other handwork group (any kind of handwork is acceptable). We have discovered that such a group can be a place to ask our important questions and tell our stories. There will be opportunity to learn about the ministry of prayer shawls and how to make them. And to learn to knit, if that appeals to you. The group could meet once or twice a month, as there is interest. Time and frequency can be decided by the group’s scheduling needs.
Proposed location: Tuesdays, 2-4pm, PMC quiet room Questions or want to join? Linda: 503-475-0136 Vivian: 503-505-4904 |
