CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL
As we gather again in-person, a "Sunday School experience" is being planned at 9:30 AM, Sundays for ages 3 through 5th grade.
A Sunday School Experience...
Beginning at 9:30 on April 24 we plan to welcome children back into the lower level for a Sunday school “experience.” There will be music, storytelling, crafts and even a snack at the end. This “experience” isn’t going to look like our regular Sunday school format but hopefully will help our kids and their parents reconnect a bit before we take our normal summer break. The plan is to restart Sunday school fully in the fall. The theme for this Sunday School experience will be the Fruits of the Spirit.
We look forward to all our kids joining in the fun.
Parents are welcome to stay as helpers or grab a cup of coffee in the kitchen.
- April 24 PATIENCE (Registration)
- May 1 GENTLENESS
- May 8 (Church Retreat)
- May 15 KINDNESS/GOODNESS (MDS story telling)
- May 22 JOY
- May 29 PEACE
We look forward to all our kids joining in the fun.
Parents are welcome to stay as helpers or grab a cup of coffee in the kitchen.
Do you have interest in being a Teacher next fall?
Our Sunday school teachers are volunteers from the congregation and receive a short orientation at the beginning of the fall quarter. Teaching Sunday school with the kids at PMC is a wonderful spiritual discipline and many have reflected how this experience has helped them grow in faith as well as increased their joy in being part of our faith community The relationship one builds with children and their parents is rich and full of rewards.
Email Curt Weaver to learn more or to explore the idea of teaching Sunday school.
