The Scavenger Hunt Adventure
has 4 destinations!
Palm Sunday / Maundy Thursday / Good Friday / & Easter
At each stop you and your kids will look for the clues and signs that will lead you to part of the story of Holy Week. The addresses you find below are all members of PMC that have agreed to create a small display somewhere on thier property for you to discover with your child. You will have the chance to tell your child the story and connect it to what you discover. Oh, and of course there will be sweets at each location for you to take with you.

COVID 19 precautions will be observed. Unless you wish to say hello from a safe distance, these short stops will not have any human contact and the "displays" will be outside.
Discover Palm Sunday
Do you have any extra coats in your house? Are you willing to throw them down for Jesus? At this location you will find a bin waiting for you to place your coat. The coats will later be collected and offered to Street Roots. Remember to sign your name in the guest book and see who else has discovered Palm Sunday in this spot.

Discover Maundy Thursday
At this stop you will find a bowl with water bottles and clean towels. You will also find grape juice boxes and wheat crakers. Take a minute to wash you childs feet and tell her the story of the last supper. Remember to sign your name in the guest book and see who else has discovered Maundy Thursday in this spot.

Discover Good Friday
At this location you will find a bowl of water, some pencils and some dissolving paper. Take time to talk to your child about forgiveness and saying you are sorry. Write things you are sorry about on the paper and place it in the bowl of water to watch it dissolve. Remember to sign your name in the guest book and see who else has discovered Good Friday in this spot.

Discover Easter
At the Easter stop you will discover a blooming flower. There will be bulbs for your child to take home and plant. Here you can tell your child that this part of the story is our reminder that Love never dies and that hope is forever reborn. Remember to sign your name in the guest book and see who else has discovered Easter in this spot.
