ABOUT RODRod has served as Lead Pastor at Portland Mennonite Church since 1999. He went to Seminary not planning to be a Mennonite or a minister, but the Spirit works in its own way. He grew up in the central valley of California, went to Berkeley where he graduated with a degree in Political Science, and earned a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Pasadena, California and Lawrence, Kansas. Rod and his wife Molly have two daughters, Julia and Laura, and live in NE Portland. Rod likes to ride bike, eat good food, hike in the mountains, and do the Sunday crossword with Molly.

ABOUT BRITTBritt began serving at PMC in October 2016. She is a native Oregonian, and a graduate of Seattle Pacific University and Duke Divinity School, where she received her master of divinity in 2013. She served as a pastoral intern at Palmyra United Methodist in North Carolina and at La Iglesia Metodista El Shaddai in Ahuachapan, El Salvador and spent two years in Dallas, Texas as a part of Wilshire Baptist Church’s innovative pastoral residency program for young clergy. Most recently, she served as the interim pastor of the Community Church of Issaquah, Washington. When not in the office, you can find her hiking, reading a good book, laughing with family and friends or enjoying (though not necessarily cooking) delicious food.

ABOUT CURTCurt grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Eastern Mennonite University before serving three years in Swaziland with Mennonite Central Committee. He received an MA in Christian Formation from Anabaptist Mennonite Theological Seminary before moving to Oregon in 2007 as a leader for Service Adventure, a program of Mennonite Mission Network and began serving at PMC in 2009. Curt lives in Oak Grove OR with his wife Karin and their two children, Jonathan and Chloe. He enjoys Saturday morning yard sales and a good cup of coffee.

ABOUT RACHELRachel grew up in Portland, and has been attending PMC since 2003. She has an MS in Conflict Resolution, and is currently pursuing seminary studies online at AMBS. When not making pie charts, Rachel enjoys cooking, reading science fiction, and taking long walks.
