Kids Care Club Sundays (presently on Summer break)

A year ago, a few of our 3rd & 4th graders recognized that there was graffiti and trash in our PMC playground. They spoke to us and asked if we could help them clean up the mess. They told us that they wanted to find more ways of taking care of God's beautiful creation.

Not only that, but they have some advice for all of us; "Do Something Small, Make a Big Difference" because "Trash Free is what our Earth is meant to be."

Children's Time during Worship

Children's time is a long held tradition at PMC. It takes place in the front of the sanctuary on Sunday mornings during the service and is for children of all ages.
Children are valued and loved at PMC and on Sunday mornings we call them to the front of the sanctuary for something called Children's Time. A beautiful quilt is spread out and the children gather for a short story that relates to the theme of the morning. This time is led by volunteers in the congregation and is meant to celebrate the children of our faith family and join them on a shared journey of following Jesus.

Children's Worship for younger kids

A children's worship service will happen on the lower level during the sermon time upstairs. It is designed for children ages 3-1st grade.
Children are invited to attend Children’s worship immediately after children's time in the worship service.

The PMC Nursery

Youth Groups

At PMC, Teens in 9th through 12th grades are often referred to as the MYF (which is an OLD term meaning Mennonite Youth Fellowship) and kids in 6th through 8th grades are simply called the Jr High Youth group.

On Sundays, the Jr High group meet at 11:00 am for Sunday school in their secret room accessed from the Old Chapel. The MYF meet in the tower room to the right of the stage also at 11:00 a.m.
