Depending how big you want the cookies, can yield 12-24 cookies.
This is my go to recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I like them because they stay soft but they never stay around long.
1 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups rolled oats
1-2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix well, drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.
