Recipe 1⁄2 cup salted butter 1 cup crunchy peanut butter 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar 1 cup dark brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tbsp. water 1 1⁄2 cup white flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp sea salt 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats 3⁄4 cup chocolate chips (or more) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and water (1/4 cup of water when doubled). In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt, then add to wet ingredients. Stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop onto ungreased baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. Depending how big you want the cookies, can yield 12-24 cookies.

This is my go to recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I like them because they stay soft but they never stay around long.
Recipe Cream together: 1 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla Add 1 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups rolled oats 1-2 cups chocolate chips 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Mix well, drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. ENJOY |
